I have a tent, car and stove: I make journeys.

Wilderness and wildness are subjects to which I return again and again as I seek to explore their relationship. My interest in this body of work centred in the human imagination within landscape: how the landscape (with its associated lore and legend) forms the imagination which, in turn, shapes our understanding of the landscape before us.

These etchings document a collection of journeys made in 2013 spanning the far reaches of the British Isles, the Western coastline of the Continent, the Alps and the Kenyan savannah. The edition sizes range bewteen 10 and thirty, hand printed on Somerset paper.
