The first journey to the Hebrides, made in 2013, was spent exploring the Outer Islands of Skye, Harris & Lewis. The second, in 2014, involved spending seven days under sail on the waters surrounding the Inner Islands: Jura, Gigha, Islay. These works result from intensive immersions in the salty, weather beaten atmosphere of those barren, beautiful outlying islands.
