LandLockeddown

The caves under Baggy Point, Devon were initially explored in 2014. Experiences from this swim were made into a film. Excerpts are projected back into a pool of water in which the artist swam on a tether during the 2020 isolation. This re-engagement offers a re-experiencing of the wild landscape, whilst the presence of the artist’s projected head allows the viewer, along with the artist, to follow her imaged figure backwards through time into a past encounter with the sea.
